  1.  The  Download Clipboard is used to store file names  you
  2.  CLIP from the screen with your mouse.
  3.  
  4.  You  can  edit, view, save, reload, and  feed  the  file
  5.  names back to the BBS when you are ready to download.
  6.  
  7.  The  Download Clipboard is one of the few items  in  TNT
  8.  that can only be accessed from the Mouse Menu. Since you
  9.  HAVE  to  have  a mouse to clip a  file  name  from  the
  10.  screen, this keeps the HOTKEY help menu from becoming to
  11.  cluttered.
  12.  
  13.  The  Download  Clipboard has 64 FILE  cells.  Each  file
  14.  cell can hold ONE file name.

  16.  Almost  all  the Download Clipboard  functions  work  on
  17.  TAGGED  files. A tagged file is highlighted, black  with
  18.  an  off-white  background. Other file names,  those  not
  19.  tagged, are bright white with an off-white background.

  21.  To tag a file, move to its cell and click the LEFT mouse
  22.  button.  To untag a file, move to its cell and click  on
  23.  it with the LEFT mouse button.

  25.  EXITING The Clipboard

  28.  There are two way to exit the Download Clipboard.  Click
  29.  your RIGHT mouse button or click on F2-Send Names with the
  30.  LEFT mouse button.

  32.  FUNCTION KEY OPTIONS

  35.  F2-Send Names
  36.  
  37.  When the BBS asks you for the name or names of the files
  38.  to  download,  you can send those names by  opening  the
  39.  Download  Clipboard and TAGGING the file names you  want
  40.  to  download. Once you have TAGGED all the files,  click
  41.  on the text "F2-Send Names" or press F2.
  42.  
  43.  A  small  window will open asking if you want to  use  a
  44.  CR/LF sequence to separate the file names, click on YES
  45.  if  you do. If you click on NO, TNT will use a SPACE  to
  46.  seperate the file names.
  47.  
  48.  Which to use can be confusing. Some BBS packages require
  49.  the   CARRIAGE   RETURN,   some   require   the   SPACE.
  50.  Experimenting  with  the BBS you call is the  only  sure
  51.  fire method of determining which one is appropriate.

  53.  Once  you  have selected the separation  character,  you
  54.  will return to TERMINAL mode and TNT will send the names
  55.  of the files.

  57.  You may also move the mouse cursor to the text  "F2-Send
  58.  Names"  and click the LEFT mouse button to  select  this
  59.  option.

  61.  F3-Load Clip

  63.  This function allows you to RELOAD a Download  Clipboard
  64.  that you previously saved with the F6-Save option.

  66.  A  FILEBOX will open listing all the CLIPBOARDS  in  the
  67.  current directory. Move the scroll bar to the  clipboard
  68.  you  want and press RETURN or click LEFT  mouse  button.
  69.  You  can use the PGUP, PGDN, UP-ARROW,  DN-ARROW,  HOME,
  70.  and  END keys to move the scroll bar. You may also  FAST
  71.  SCROLL  the FILEBOX by moving your mouse cursor  to  the
  72.  first  or  last entry and holding down the  RIGHT  MOUSE
  73.  BUTTON.

  75.  You may also move the mouse cursor to the text  "F3-Load
  76.  Clip"  and  click the LEFT mouse button to  select  this
  77.  option.

  79.  F4-Clear

  81.  This clears the Download Clipboard. If you want to  SAVE
  82.  the names of the files you have clipped from the screen,
  83.  use the F6-Save option before pressing F4.

  85.  You  may  also move the mouse cursor to  the  text  "F4-
  86.  Clear"  and click the LEFT mouse button to  select  this
  87.  option.

  89.  F5-Clear Tagged

  91.  This option is similar to F4 except it only removes  the
  92.  file names you have TAGGED. The remaining file names are
  93.  shifted up to fill the blank cells.

  95.  This is useful if you tag a bunch of files but can  only
  96.  download  a few at a time. After each  download,  select
  97.  F5-Clear  Tagged  to remove the names of the  files  you
  98.  just download and tag a new group.

  100.   You  may  also move the mouse cursor to the  text  "F5-
  101.  Clear Tagged" and click the LEFT mouse button to  select
  102.  this option.

  104.  F6-Save
  105.  
  106.  The  Save option allows you to save the contents of  the
  107.  current  Download Clipboard to disk, maybe you  did  not
  108.  have enough time to download the files you wanted.

  110.  A small window will open asking for a file name. You may
  111.  enter up to 8 characters, but do NOT enter an EXTENSION.
  112.  TNT will add the file extension of CLP. This allows  TNT
  113.  to locate the Dowload Clipboards when you select the F3-
  114.  Load Clip option.
